I recommend bringing your pet's favorite treats, toys, water, a leash/collar/harness, and anything else that helps the pet feel comfortable. Long line leashes are encouraged to give them space to roam freely while staying safe.

No fear, intimidation, punishment, or physical force is used. I rely on positive reinforcement, patience, treats, toys, and knowledge of animal body language. Letting your dog's personality shine without forcing them to pose.

Pets don’t need to be perfectly behaved or social. Reactivity can be managed by chosing the best location and/or environment. I will work at their pace and adjust the session as needed.

Pets don’t need to look at the camera in every image. The use of treats, toys, sounds, movement, and natural curiosity when helpful, while embracing candid moments.

I have nearly 10 years of pet-industry experience that includes working with vets, trainers and shelters. I also have a force-free certification and animal-body-language expertise. I will adjust sessions to the pet’s communication instead of forcing poses.

No worries! Pets don’t need the perfect obedience training. I will work with their existing behaviors using gentle, reward-based techniques.

Pets are unpredictable, and that’s okay. The use of breaks, activity or location changes, and exploration; some of the best images come from unplanned moments. If your pet is having an off day and we are not able to capture any photographs, the session may be rescheduled for another date.

They don't need to be! With final editing, leashes can be removed so your pet can stay safe on leash. Long lines are encouraged; if you do not have one, I am happy to provide one for the session.If you wish for your pet to be off leash, an at home session is recommend or finding a private, pet friendly fenced in area.
