Hi, I’m Sydney!

I've been working in the pet industry for nearly a decade, and throughout that time I've had the opportunity to work with a huge variety of dogs. From energetic puppies to laid back seniors, tiny dogs to giant breeds, and confident personalities to the more nervous or sensitive ones, I've learned there is no one size fits all approach when it comes to dogs.

Photography started as a hobby when I was in my teens taking photos of my childhood dog, Rylie Ann. Those photos are still some of my favorites to this day because it showcased the best moments I had with her. Gradually that hobby became something I wanted to share with other pet parents - the ability to freeze those little moments with your dog that you will have for a lifetime. The goofy expressions, the zoomies, the curious looks, the muddy paws, the quiet cuddles, and all of the imperfect moments in between. Dogs are my specialty and my biggest passion, but they certainly are not the only animals I love to photograph. I am always excited for the opportunity to work with cats, rabbits, birds, or any other species you may have!

As a Force Free Certified photographer, your pet's comfort and happiness always comes first. My sessions are relaxed, playful, and focused on letting your pet's personality shine through. I am well versed in dog body language and reading the signals that tell me when they are comfortable, curious, anxious, overwhelmed or ready for a break. I pay attention to their pace, personality, and individual needs so they never feel pressured to perform for a photo.
