Hi, I’m Sydney!

 

I’ve spent nearly a decade working in the pet industry, and somewhere along the way, my love for animals and my love for photography came together to create Happy Appy Photography. The name comes from Aspyn, my happy dog, who is nicknamed Happy Appy because the happiness she brings to everyone she meets.

 

What started as a hobby became something I wanted to share with other pet parents — the ability to freeze those little moments that make your dog them. The goofy expressions, the zoomies, the curious looks, the muddy paws, the quiet cuddles, and all of the imperfect moments in between.

As a Force Free Certified photographer, your pet's comfort and happiness always comes first. My sessions are relaxed, playful, and focused on letting your pet's personality shine through. I am well versed in dog body language and reading the signals that tell me when they are comfortable, curious, anxious, overwhelmed or ready for a break. I pay attention to their pace, personality, and individual needs so they never feel pressured to perform for a photo.
